It was a good experience as a newcomer in Saskatoon. The staff was quite helpful. They have minute information. They resolved all our queries

Cozy office, convenient location, friendly staff. They tell and introduce newcomers in detail. Lots of activities and meetings.

The worst in terms of punctuality. Our appointment was 3, but we have to stay 1 hour more to meet the Gnanseeli. But during meeting she was very patient and helpful.

When I asked for translation help, I was directly rejected. I was blocked from the door of the building. She said they were busy, and my difficulties were not in their service. Let me find my friend to solve them. Open door is an agency set up by the government to provide support services for new immigrants, but the staff are not even try to help me. In the end, I received a warm reception and help at GGP. A Lady patiently listened to my needs and promised to help me contact a volunteer who can provide translation support.

Very helpful counselors who are helping newcomers to settle, find job, and navigate their life in the new environment. Volunteering with Open Door will give you opportunity to meet new people and learn different cultures. It makes you adaptable.

Very helpful staff, very attentive and polite, nice, clean, a lot information is available. The only thing I don’t like about this place - is parking. The building is located in the busiest part of the city and parking around there not free around office hours. The Service Canada understood that and they moved to a mall, a lot of space and free parking. I wish this organization also could move to places like Preston mall or Confederation (that thing is almost empty for example).

I'm not sure how this organization operates. I have encountered two staff members who were extremely rude and disrespectful, something I have never experienced with any other organization in Canada. Is it a case of mismanagement? Or did they hire the wrong employees? Or did they let in individuals with racist attitudes? I don't know. All I know is that every time I enter their office or receive a phone call from them, I feel like I'm in a place that doesn't feel like Canada. There are so many negative reviews. Shouldn't people pay attention to that? I gave a one star point because I can’t chose zero!

This is an excellent place for new comers and immigrants to Canada. They assist with settling and finding jobs and other essential things for someone who is new to Canada. They have events and activities that help to get to know the wonderful aspects of beinh a Canadian like a hockey game for example. They are friendly, polite and professional and provide excellent customer service. They host job fairs and concentrate on finding employment for new comers to Canada. They have Education for employment programs and courses. They have also have excellent counselors. They hosted an diversity award gala where they award companies who are leading the way with diversity when it comes to employees. Overall an amazing establishment.

What a joke of an organization. They don’t help the clients unless it benefits them. Worked there for a year and realized that the organization has lots of bad apples. Ashfaque and Sadat are rude crooks. They are incompetent and harass the staff. They hired Calvin for IT and he was clearly a phoned in hire. They do not promote good people and this group of manipulators Ashfaque Sadat and Ashraf continue to abuse their power. The government needs to audit them fully. And these three need to be fired.
